Cookie Notice
Last updated: [effective date]
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. This page lists every cookie [Church legal name] uses on this site, and why.
We use no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not build a profile of you. Every cookie below is either strictly necessary or remembers a preference you chose yourself, which is why this site does not interrupt you with a cookie banner.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps a church administrator signed in after they log in. Set only for people with an admin account — never for ordinary visitors. | Until sign-out or expiry |
sidebar_state |
Remembers whether an administrator left the admin menu open or closed. | 7 days |
| Theme preference | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance. Stored in your own browser. | Until you clear it |
Video from YouTube
Sermon and livestream pages embed video from YouTube, which is operated by Google. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube does not set tracking cookies simply because you opened the page. If you press play, YouTube may then store data on your device and receive your IP address, under Google's own privacy policy rather than ours. If you would rather that did not happen, do not start the video.
Managing cookies
Every browser lets you see, block, and delete cookies through its settings. Blocking the session cookie will stop administrators being able to sign in, but will not affect anything a visitor uses.
